The Next Chapter
Designing a life of meaning and purpose after retirement.
Workshop Synopsis:
Loss of identity and purpose is a common experience when the structure of a career fades and when the children are adult. This workshop offers a supportive space for participants to navigate the emotional terrain of retirement. Through practical exercises, participants will engage in guided self-discovery to match their wealth of strengths and interests to the needs and opportunities they have observed. Participants will create a new, individualized Purpose Portfolio aligned to their Purpose Statement. The goal is to transform this life transition from a period of potential void into a vibrant, intentional chapter of renewed meaning.

About the Speaker
John Ooi understands life’s transitions, having experienced a lifetime of work in the arena of education, four decades of marriage, and having raised six now-adult children.
