This 2.5 hours workshop provides a creative reflective space for families to connect through storytelling, imagination and shared experiences using food. Through the activity, families will explore values, memories, and strengths within their relationships.

About the event
In today's fast-paced technology-driven world, meaningful communication between parent-
child/grandparent-grandchild is increasingly important yet often overlooked.
Synopsis: This workshop aims to help participants experience meaningful connections through creativity and storytelling, leaving with a shared memory and an edible symbol representing their family bond.

About the Workshop Facilitators
Three mothers from different backgrounds sharing the same values of raising children, connected with their parents/grandparents. We recognise the importance of family values and early childhood development. Together we combine creativity, storytelling and food with hands-on experiences to create meaningful value-driven bonding sessions for families.
Debbie Woodford
Debbie is an emotional resilience educator and founder of DEBBlinks, specialising in
creative programmes that combine storytelling, drama, and play to support children’s social and emotional development.
Her work with government agencies and educational institutions has established her as a trusted facilitator in designing experiences that strengthen communication, confidence, and family connection. Debbie’s signature approach blends humour,
creativity, and heart, making her workshops both engaging and deeply meaningful.
Jessica Linggakusuma
Jessica is the owner of Niosoven.com, a home-based baking business specializing in customized and handcrafted cakes which are tailored to each customer. With a love for the arts, she enjoys combining creativity and baking to create meaningful experiences for every customer. She also conducts baking and creative workshops that bring people together, sparking imagination and fun in the process through hands-on activities.
Jo-Anne Lee
Jo-Anne has worked in the government sector for half her life, in both the arts and health industry. Her experience in arts events management and healthy aging has given her a wealth of knowledge to bridge her love for arts with the science of health.
An aspiring writer and storyteller, she sees the importance of inter-generational programmes where good values and traditions are passed on to enrich the lives of families and stay connected.
