Together with her husband Mark, Monica de Silva-Lim has seven children ranging in age from 19 to 36 years old. As a couple, they have been involved in marriage and family life service since 1993.

Monica has more than 28 years’ experience in education of parents and children and holds a Masters in Family Education. She is founder and director of Rosebrook Developmental Centre, a fully inclusive developmental programme for children and youth. Prior to that she was the General Manager and Managing Director respectively of two of the largest pre-school operators in Singapore and internationally. She started her career in banking and human resources before pursuing her passion of education.

Monica served as Chairman of the Down Syndrome Association for four years and was also on the board of the Archdiocesan Commission for the Family as its Treasurer. She currently serves as President of Family Enrichment Society.
